My favorite moment in any relationship arch is the oh moment.
The moment the guy realizes he is already too far gone, and there is no way to turn back even if he wanted to. Even if he could run away, he’ll never be the same after this moment. It’s the moment where the guy knows that he would risk it all to keep this moment and this person forever. A moment like this is terrifying because the truth is he would let this person ruin his life, gladly.
I want you to ruin my life. I want you to fuck up my nights. I want you to bring it all on. If you make it all wrong, then I’ll make it all right. I want you to ruin my life.

I actually have to admit as much as I was disappointed when it aired, it hasn’t changed my love for the show, it remains my favorite drama so far from 2023, and probably my favorite Xianxia (even though I do believe overall and objectively LBFAD is the best xianxia, which I also love to death btw, but, personally I put TSL first).
So yeah, honestly I’m just in the process of accepting that xianxias never have the best endings, no one understands why tbh, it’s not like LBFAD had the best one, it’s just better than TSL because at least you SEE the ship together even for just 20 seconds lol and of course there’s also worse ones like Immortal Samsara or TTEOTM…
Anyway, still wish it was better, mostly because I deserved to SEE my girls alive and happy! (I hate that the last we have of Qingkui is her sacrificing 4 eps before the last episode, whyyyy…) they went through so much please…but I know they are! It’s still weird because it’s not even like a bad ending, they literally just don’t show you the girls which is just so weird like why, couldn’t the actresses shoot one more scene??? lol
Anyway, I guess we’ll forever wonder but well I still love the show a lot!
